Well, Game of Thrones is a series that you either love, hate or have never heard of. For the fans, it is an intertwined cacophany of characters, schemes and sex in the Medieval kingdom of Westeros. Sounds good to me. With some many characters and such intricate storylines, the best way to get started watching Game of Thrones is the get all previous episodes on DVD and catch up before the next season begins.
