St. Patrick’s Day costumes are pretty standard. You’ve got the leprechaun costume for men and boy’s and the Irish beer girl or Irish Dancer outfits for the women and girls. There are many styles of each, ranging from traditional to humorous but there is a finite number of choices. The last thing you want is to walk into the pub on St. Patty’s Day in the same costume as someone else, unless you plan it that way, of course. So what you should aim to do this year is to have a unique, one-of-a-kind St. Patrick’s Day costume. This is best accomplished with a sense of humor, a base costume and the creative use of accessories.
Step One: Start with a costume.
For the sake of example, I’m picking the standard Leprechaun Costume.
Step Two: Add a Beard and a Hat
Step Three: Put on some super cool Shamrock Sunglasses
Step Four: Get your St. Patrick’s Day Drinking Accessories!
There you go! With a few strategic accessory choices you’ll have something special. Remember, the more original you are, the more Irish luck you will have. So go for a one-of-a-kind St. Patrick’s Day costume and have nothing but celebrations and good times come your way.
