Americans may celebrate the month of July because of Independence Day but that’s not all the month is known for. I’m happy to announce that July is also National Junk Food Month. And if you’re like me, that’s something worth celebrating!
Junk food may not be the best choice for your health, but it tastes so good to pass up on. It doesn’t have to be a free for all. I surely wouldn’t judge you if you celebrated this month in the company of all of your favorite junk foods but that’s your prerogative. Instead, there are specific days during the month of July celebrating specific junk foods.
July 21st functions as both National Junk Food Day and National Ice Cream Day. You can kill two birds with one delicious stone!
You can even throw National Grilling Month into your foodie festivities by using your grill to make some s’mores or try something new and exciting by looking up grilled dessert recipes on Pinterest (seriously, you won’t regret it)!
Whether you’re sweetening up your sweet tooth or satiating your salty cravings, there’s no wrong way to celebrate National Junk Food Month.
